American Greetings is a great place to get your next photo book. I fell in love with photo books a few years ago. At that time, it was a cumbersome process to upload photos and make a good looking book. Things have sure come a long way.
American Greetings, using their PhotoWorks.com site, makes it easy to create your own photo studio book. A studio book is an 8.5 x 11″ hard cover book that is printed on archival quality paper. You can fit up to 80 pages in one studio book! I created a baby themed studio book for my daughter who just turned 16. The book contains pictures of her when she was a baby, as well as pictures of her growing up. I took the pictures from the slide show that I made for her for her party. I am sure that she is going to love to see a hard copy of all the pictures from the slide show.
I uploaded my pictures, which took very little time at all! I have used other photo sites that have taken too long to upload the pictures. I put all the pictures in one album then started making my photo book. I choose the “Madison” style and it was perfect. The color scheme was brown, pinks and green. You are not limited to just one or two style of pages, you can choose from many different background images, text styles, and even cute elements that will be printed on the page. My book is about 30 pages long and I can’t wait to get it in the mail. As soon as I do, I will follow up on this post and let you know about the quality (I am expecting great things!).
