My kids have been begging me for a couple of years now for a pet, preferably a dog. Since we found out that my middle daughter is allergic to cats and some types of dogs, we have narrowed our search a bit. I used to be worried about the mess, especially fleas, but now that they have such new innovative products such as Frontline, I am not as concerned anymore.
Our requirements:
- Must be a smaller dog, preferably under 25 pounds.
- Must be non-allergenic.
- Must be smart and easily trained.
- Must not bark a lot.
- Must be good with kids.

I have a dog and do not use anything on him for fleas that is a chemical. If it can’t touch my skin I don’t want it on my pet.
