My son is excited for the big feast tomorrow! He had a pretend feast in school (they dressed as pilgrims) but he was disappointed that they had bologna instead of Turkey. Hopefully this holiday will be a safe one. It always seems that we need to pull out the Medicare supplement insurance to take someone to the emergency room for stitches. I am not letting anyone handle any sharp knives this year!
On our menu will be:
Turkey with Stuffing
Monkey Bread
Mashed Potatoes and Gravy
Sweet Potatoes
Assorted Veggies
Stuffed Mushrooms
Assorted Pies and Desserts
Tonight I am going to make an eggnog and chocolate cheesecake. I haven’t tried this recipe yet, but it sounds delicious!
