Uncle Ben’s Whole Grain White Rice Review & *GIVEAWAY*

I would love to serve my children a healthy rice product, but they balk at the brown rice and prefer the white rice. Last night I tried Uncle Ben’s new product – Whole Grain White Rice. This rice is a whole grain rice that looks and tastes like white rice. The rice cooks up in 10-12 minutes and is very tasty! My kids loved the rice and didn’t even realize that they were eating a whole grain rice. Here is the recipe that I tried:

Uncle Ben’s Whole Grain White Rice with Pineapple

One Box of Uncle Ben’s Whole Grain White Rice
1 snack size cup of pineapple tidbits

Drain the pineapple juice from the pineapple tidbits into a measuring cup. Add enough extra water to equal 1 1/2 cups. Pour into a saucepan. Add the rice. Bring contents to a boil, reduce heat and simmer covered for 10 minutes. Remove from heat, add the pineapple and put the cover back on. Let sit for 5 minutes or until most of the water is absorbed. Stir and serve.
