Funky Monkey Snacks Review and Giveaway

These snacks are FREEZE DRIED and that gives them a whole new taste and texture! They are all natural, with no added sugar, preservatives, colors or flavors. They are also gluten-free, wheat-free and dairy-free. Funky Monkey snacks come in four different flavors:

• Carnaval Mix – organic banana, organic pineapple, apple, papaya and raisins
• Bananamon – organic banana and organic cinnamon
• Jivealime – organic pineapple and organic lime juice
• Purple Funk – organic banana and organic acai

Each 1 oz bag contains three of the four recommended daily servings of fruit. The snacks have been certified organic according to the Natural Organic Program standards set by the US Department of Agriculture. This means that Funky Monkey snacks are “produced, harvested, processed and handled using all-natural methods and substances.”

I received all four varieties of the snacks and we tried two of them – Jivealime and Purple Funk. Both were delicious, but I would have to say my favorite was the Purple Funk. The banana with the flavor of the acai (almost a grape flavor) was superb! The crispy texture was so much better than the chewy texture of other dried fruits.
