Looking for a New MP3 Player

by The Shopping Duck on April 8, 2009

My daughter’s MP3 Player died and now I am looking for a new one. I don’t want to spend a lot of money, but I want one that has a decent amount of memory and has an expansion slot (such as an micro sd card). She would really like to get an iPod Touch but that is just out of our price range.

Any suggestions?

Actually, yes. :) The hubs got me a Sansa Fuze for Christmas (well, technically, Little Bit did, as hubby and I don’t exchange, but you get the drift!). I am not sure where he found it (he’s a computer geek, so who knows) but after I got mine and fell in love with it my mom ran out and bought one too – at BestBuy. I know you can get them at Amazon also, and if you watch they have specials now and again. It does have the memory card, which was one of my requirements too (it’s the tiniest one I’ve ever seen). It seems easy to use, as my mom plays with hers all the time. I haven’t been able to play with the software for it yet, as hubby is still playing with it! But the Fuze itself if fun and very easy to use. Much better than my old iPod! It’s also really tiny, about the size of a pack of cards and thin! Maybe 1/8 – 1/4 of an inch thick. Mine is the 8gb and with the additional space on the card I have a ton of music and quite a few books to listen to. Needless to say, I love mine. <3 :)
