If you are looking to save a few extra bucks this year, try buying slightly used items. eBay is a great source for items that may have been only used once! I have bought shoes, clothing, computers and even used cisco from eBay. Before you purchase at eBay this holiday season, here are a few tips!
- Know prices. Never buy something used that you could get cheaper new, unless it is an antique or collectible.
- Watch for shipping prices. Some sellers on eBay charge an arm and a leg for shipping. Look for shipping costs before you bid.
- Don’t get caught up in the bidding wars. Decide on a final price that you are willing to pay before you bid, bid that amount and let it go if you don’t win.
- If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. You won’t get a Chanel bag for $20, you will get a knockoff though!
