  • Reusable bags – I carry these in my car and try to use them at the grocery store and other shops. The hold more than plastic bags and are sturdier too!
  • Light Police – My kids love leaving on all the lights in the house, so I designate one of them to be the light police each week. They are responsible for making sure the lights in each room are off if they are not occupied.
  • Recycle – This is very easy in my town. We are provided bins for plastics, glass, etc. and for paper. These things are picked up every two weeks. Designate a spot in your home or garage for recyclables.
