Don’t Fret The Sweat!

by The Shopping Duck on May 25, 2010

degreeMy daughter is just about to finish up her 5th grade year. This year has a lot of milestones and a transition to middle school. One other thing that occurs is that these children start to turn into teenagers! You can’t help but notice that they need something new in their lives and that something is deodorant! Often, kids are teased at this age because of any little thing so you certainly don’t want one of those to be body odor.

Unilever’s new website, DontFretTheSweat.com is a resource for parents to help them talk to their tweens about odor issues but other tween issues as well. Unilever’s Tween Confidence Index suggests that tween confidence is short-lived, but can be safe-guarded by strong communication between tweens and parents.

I received a free sample of Degree Girl for my daughter to try. She loved the fragrance and was happy that she no longer had the smell of an old locker room during the day. It might not be easy talking to your tweens about their changing bodies, but Unilever just made it easier!

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Unilever and received the items necessary to facilitate my review. In addition, Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.
