Jul 7 Making Labels
I just finished organizing my kids drawers and went in search of my label maker. I wanted to put labels on the drawers so that the kids would know where they should put away each of their items of clothing. I found my Brother label maker, put I couldn’t get it to work anymore!! I have had this label maker for at least 15 years, so I guess the time has come.
I searched around the web for a new one and found another Brother on sale for only $13.83 and that includes FREE shipping (I absolutely love free shipping). You can get it 2nd Day Air for only an additional $5.49!
The Brother PT-1010 Handheld Label Printer is portable with a rubber grip and has a number of great features including: 2 line-printing, larger 12-character LCD display, 8 types of styles and 3 type sizes. It also allows you to print with 6 frame options and has built-in auto formats and includes symbols as well. Set the date and time on the Brother Printer and you can easily make labels for food items so that you know when they expire.
The Brother comes with a 1/2 inch black on white TZ laminated tape, but you can also purchase other laminated tapes that are good for indoor and outdoor use.
I find using a portable label maker much easy than trying to print labels off on my computer!
