The former Prime Minister of Pakistan, was writing a book before she was assassinated. The book, Reconciliation: Islam, Democracy and the Westy by Benazir Bhutto focuses on how to bridge the gap between Islam and the West.
Benazir Bhutto had returned to Pakistan in October 2007, after eight years in exile. She had hoped that she could bring unity and change to her country. Unfortunately, she was murdered in December 2007. In this book, Bhutto speaks about Pakistan and how to stop the surge of Islamic radicalism. It is too bad that her voice of reason was silenced.
