I always find it interesting when I am visiting a new office to check out the reception desks. I have been to offices that just have a regular desk and the receptionist is sitting right behind it. Other offices have those almost circular desks that are taller. The receptionist is almost hidden behind the huge desk and you have to go right up to the edge to ask her/him a question. The funniest desk I saw, was basically a chair and a portable small table on wheels that was just big enough to hold a small computer. The area was so clean I wondered if the receptionist did any work at all!
