If your family loves sports, try attending a sporting event. We live close to New York, but the prices for a Mets game or a Yankee game is a little much. Instead, we opt for going to a minor league game. We have the Somerset Patriots that are close. The stadium is smaller and there are always lots of kid friendly activities going on.

Another option is to try a soccer match. The New York Red Bulls (sponsored by Red Bull of course), actually play in New Jersey. Tickets can be reasonable and since both my daughters play soccer, it will be fun for them to watch.
